A Message from Goodwill Niagara
Goodwill Niagara is reopening all retail and donation centres across the Niagara Region on Thursday May 21, 2020. We thank the community for their support during the COVID-19 pandemic and we look forward to continuing to provide essential programs and services throughout the Niagara Region. Goodwill Niagara will be operating with reduced retail and donation hours for the next weeks to give our team members additional time to clean, sanitize, and replenish merchandise.
While we were closed, we were working hard to ensure the safe return of our shoppers, donors, and team members. What you can expect at each of our retail stores is plexiglass sneeze guards at the cash registers, limited occupancy, increased sanitization and cleaning, quarantined and disinfected donations, personal protective equipment for our team members, sanitized cart cleaning and enforced social distancing measures. Although we will continue to accept cash as payment, we ask that customers please try to pay by debit or credit whenever possible.
All donation drop-off locations will be contact free, with donations being quarantined and disinfected upon arrival. Donations are needed more than ever now for families and individuals in our community feeling the economic effects of COVID-19. We would like to thank everyone who has held on to their donations during the pandemic and we look forward to accepting your donations when we reopen.
Goodwill Niagara was closed March 22, 2020 due to the COVID-19 pandemic. We are pleased to be back serving the community and we look forward to welcoming you back!
